(A) Ronde d’eau Lausanne
Pedestrian Bridge – 5M CHF
Commune de Chavannes-près-Renens
“Ronde d’eau” is a green corridor that steps across the highway. It returns the original natural connection and fosters environmental development.
The bridge collects water and creates self-sufficient gardens. Extra water is used by the university or stored in basins.
“Ronde d’eau” extends the public space. The ramps are structured by the main flow between the tram station and the new urban project “En Dorigny”. They are continuous and their slope never exceed 5%. Therefore, the bridge is fully disabled-friendly.
